The UCNH Jaycees are an integral part of the San Fernando Valley community. Our projects let members develop their leadership skills, make important community connections, and reach out to those who need our help. Annual projects such as "Childspreee" and "Operation:Santa" have become staple community events to assist deserving children in the area and involve the help of many small, medium, and large companies in the valley as well as several civic-community groups. It's the Jaycees who build and manage the synergy that makes each project a success.
Many UCNH Jaycee members bring ideas to the table to implement to help build the community. Projects that help the homeless like "Little Necessities" and events that provide parents with identification kits for emergency such as "Fingerprings of Hope". The Jaycees are involved with local fairs, festivals, and community forums. Just look around, and you'll see a UCNH Jaycee getting involved and making an impact here in the San Fernando Valley community.

The UCNH Jaycees can't help others effectively if we don't constantly strive to better ourselves. Projects, Excursions, and Events that enhance our culture and understanding of ourselves such as "Getty Museum Day", "Santa Barbara Wine Tasting Tours", or "Cash Flow Game Nights" allow our members to expand their horizons. Look around and you'll see UCNH Jaycees learning about Improv, exploring National Parks, sampling Foods from all over the World, and continuing to grow, nurture, and find their inner strengths. At State Conventions and on local levels, Jaycees compete in Debate and Essay Competitions, and participate in in-promptu Speak-Ups. It's all here for you to take hold of...it's the UCNH Jaycees! |
